The Gifts

Throughout 2023 and 2024 Jeffrey and Sarah have been in development for a new text-based theatre work, The Gifts, supported by The Last Great Hunt and Regional Arts Australia.
The Gifts is a family epic that delves into the fraught art of gift giving. The play pulls at the threads of materialism, ownership, and why sometimes you might want a possession so bad that it hurts. The play tells the story of twins with different fathers (heteropaternal superfecundation, look it up) squabbling and sobbing as they prepare to buy a gift for their mother for the first time in their lives.
